Fireproof cotton

Bulk ceramic fibers or ceramic fireclay consist of a mass of long, refractory ceramic fibers with a random distribution of directions.

The shapelessness of ceramic fireproofing has resulted in a variety of applications for it.

The following are some of the applications of ceramic fireproof cotton or refractory bulk ceramic fibers:

• Expansion joint filler for refractory bricks for the first layer of thermal furnaces
• Roller insulation for various furnaces, including tile and ceramic furnaces
• Sealant around burners and inspection hatches and thermocouple inlets for industrial furnaces
• Emergency repairs using fireproof cotton
• Filler for making composite tape with plastic and resin base

Bulk ceramic fibers or ceramic fireproof cotton are supplied in 10 kg packages.
